Hit The Spot

New location, same greatness! Been coming here for years. Locally owned small business with big value. Good food, good value, and now an indoor sit-down place to eat. This time, at a nearby job site and popped in for a late lunch…no waiting! Sat and did some material calculations and planning while we ate. Friendly, helpful, and prompt service, great burgers…but the fries are above and beyond! Not too crispy, not dry, not greasy…PERFECT! Hoping to see the ice cream products return at the new location. Update…ice cream is back!

Great service! Just a great bunch of staff! Smiles, polite, helpful, prompt, thankful, clean and orderly, what is not to like??!!?!!! The food was excellent, prices were excellent, portions were excellent and very filling, no shortcuts here folks, just great quality and care and effort is what we noticed right away. Washrooms were super clean. Dinning area was super clean. From what we seen the kitchen area was super clean too and very modern. The staff went the extra mile with smiles and friendly gestures throughout our time dinning there for lunch as out of town passerby'ers, they brought us out our food, genuinely told us they appreciate our business, checked half way though the meal to ensure we were pleased, gave us a big smile, wave and thank you when we leaving, and the food I must note was packaged very neatly, securely and tidy, bagged with a nice secure carry box, cutlery, festive Christmas napkins, and even tucked inside the napkin was a nice treat, a Christmas thank you gesture....a candy cane! And if all that was not a enough, to top it off there was bot a festive Christmas sticker and a thank you sticker on the food packaging which made us fell appreciated and welcomed like we were at home with friends. The owner here really clearly cares folks. We had a delicious turkey on a kaiser, combo with fries which I will note had pickles on the side in a nice little sealed container so as to not make the bun soggy, and a really healthy julian salad, lots of fresh crisp and ripe veggies, ham, cheese, dressing, etc. Very impressed with the quality of food, the speed it was made at, the cleanliness of the entire facility, the tidiness and securness of the physical food packaging, the excellent portion sizes and the grest prices. The prices here are very good, lots of value, great portion sizes and quality. Also, a big thank you and huge shout out to the female staff member who made our food, we could see her wash hands properly and thourghly with soap in open view of us in the kitchen which was a REALLY appreciated touch with flu season starting and familys getting together for the holidays. Seniors and elderly folks who read this should make note that they can trust the staff here to do the right thing with proper hand washing before making food orders and can also trust the food prep which appears to be a clean tidy modern kitchen which is in open view to the public from the counter. We were so darn impressed we asked to speak with the manager and tell them how impressed and happy we were- as positive experiences like these should be told not only to the public but to the owner AND staff as they are a huge part in making the magic happen too. We have no idea how anyone could leave a poor review for this restaurant! We have never felt so welcomed and seen such a clean tidy brightly lit organized facility. Great job to the Owner and all the Staff! From our Family to yours, Merry Christmas! P.S. we really wish we would of took photos of the food and facility to post in the review as it was really impressive but we were so hungry and so impressed we focused on eating! And the frozen desserts looked to die for too! We regret not getting one now! Give it a try! You’ll be glad you did!

A true family-run business that has never let us down. Food is always fresh and delicious and the service is second to none. The ability to sit and eat in their new location elevates the experience. Highly recommend!
